Owners
Cid & Betty Backer -- Cid and Betty Backer have lived in New Mexico and the Taos area since the mid seventies. Cid's food market will celebrate 20 years in Taos this coming November. Cid's was first located in what is now the northside Guadalajara Grill and has been in its 'new' location since 1998. Betty has scaled back her participation in the daily running of the store. Cid can be found at the market most days as he charts the future growth of the only locally owned supermarket in Taos.
Store Manager
Lee Backer -- Lee has been with the store for three years. He is innovative and forward looking with plans to maintain the highest quality in organic, natural and gourmet products available in Taos.

Assistant Store Manager
Kevin McCourt -- Kevin has been with the store the last four years. He was recently promoted from Produce manager to his current position. Kevin plays a key role in bringing you the best products and services Cid's has to offer.
Grocery Buyer
Mark Strong -- Mark is our main grocery buyer. He works with the other buyers to provide the best available products.
Grocery Manager
Luis Pacheco -- Luis bring years of experience to our Grocery and Receiving department.
Produce Manager
Daniel Abeyta -- Daniel is responsible for our award winning selections of outstanding organic and local produce.
Meat Manager
Brett Robertson -- Bret is responsible for selecting the finest in natural and organic meats, poultry, and fish available in Taos.
Dairy Manager
Michael Fernandez -- Michael oversees the daily operations of our excellent dairy and frozen foods department.
HABA Manager
Jo Post -- Jo Post is our Health and Beauty Department manager.
Office Manager
Robert Kitzman -- Bob is our accounts payable manager as well as our office manager.
Front End Manager
Bill Haller -- Bill manages the largest department in the store. He oversees all of the checkers and the carryout staff.
